Refund Policy

Last updated 29 July 2026 · Your UK statutory rights are never reduced

The short version: unused money is refundable, consumed AI work is not. Every ACU you spend triggers real, irreversible AI computation that we pay for the moment it runs — that's also why there is no free AI tier. Here is exactly how that plays out:

What you boughtRefund rule
ACU top-up — unspentFull refund of the unconsumed ACUs from that purchase within 14 days of purchase, on request.
ACU top-up — spentConsumed ACUs are not refundable. By forging, you expressly request immediate performance of digital services and acknowledge the 14-day cooling-off right is lost for the consumed portion (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, reg. 37).
Failed AI runsAutomatic — if generation fails or produces no playable game, the charge is refunded to your wallet by the system. You never pay for a failed forge.
SubscriptionsCancel any time; access runs to the end of the paid period. First-time subscribers can request a full refund within 14 days if no subscription ACUs were consumed; otherwise the consumed portion is deducted pro-rata.
Founder PassesFully refundable, no questions asked, any time before your access activates. After activation, treated as a subscription month plus its bonus ACUs.
Marketplace game purchases14-day refund if the game is broken or materially not as described and you've played under 2 hours. Creator earnings and royalties on refunded sales are reversed.
Test ACUsNo monetary value — never refundable or payable.

How to request a refund

Moderation rejections

If moderation rejects your game, the AI work was still performed, so the forge charge stands — but the game can be revised and resubmitted without re-paying for stages that don't need re-running. If we reject content for a failure on our side (e.g. a generation defect), we re-run or refund the affected charge.

Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank — most issues resolve faster through us. Accounts with fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended and unspent balances held pending investigation.

Statutory rights

Nothing here limits your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 — digital content must be as described, fit for purpose, and of satisfactory quality. Where it isn't, you're entitled to repair, replacement, or the appropriate refund regardless of the table above.
